Property & Cancellation Policies
We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be as fair and flexible as possible while balancing the unique logistics of operating a remote mountain resort. Due to the unpredictable nature of weather, wildfires, and life in general, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to help offset the cost of last-minute cancellations or changes.
Standard Cancellation & Change Policy
- 60+ Days Before Arrival: A full refund will be issued minus a $100 cancellation fee (for lodging with amenities) or $20 fee (for lodging without amenities). Changes can be made with no penalty.
- 4–60 Days Before Arrival: The deposit remains on file and may be used toward a new reservation. No refunds will be issued.
- Within 72 Hours of Arrival: All payments and deposits are forfeited and cannot be refunded or applied to a future stay.
- Marina Reservations:
- Cancellations made 4+ Days Before Reservation: A full refund will be issued.
- Cancellations made within 72 Hours of Reservation: All payments and deposits are forfeited and cannot be refunded or applied to a future reservation.
Special Circumstances
- Snowcat Transport: If we have arranged your snowcat transport and we are unable to get you to the Resort within 24 hours of your scheduled check-in time due to weather or other operational issues, you will have the choice of rescheduling or receiving a full refund.
- Wildfire & Air Quality: If the AQI at the resort is 201+ (“very unhealthy”), according to the resort air quality monitor, within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival we will offer you the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. If the Resort is required to suspend operations due to wildfire or other force majeure events, you will be refunded for any unused portion of your stay or offered the option to reschedule.
