Wood-Fired Sauna
Our friends at SaltSaun.NW have delivered a custom-built 6-person sauna, and it’s ready for you to enjoy. Nestled on the beach adjacent to the Lodge, this cedar sauna invites you to relax, refresh, and reconnect with friends and family in a classic cold plunge and sauna routine. A large window frames Mt. Bachelor, giving every moment a stunning backdrop.
Built from Pacific Northwest red cedar, the sauna features a spacious porch with a bench, hooks for towels and robes, mood lighting, and a backlit Himalayan salt wall. Typical operating temperatures range from 100–200°F, offering the perfect warmth to soothe tired muscles.
The sauna is available every day we are open, from 8:30 AM to 8 PM, and towels are included.

Dock Your Boat
Want to keep your boat on the water and ready for your next adventure? Reserve a 24-hour boat slip and enjoy convenient access to Elk Lake throughout your stay. Our slips are located right on the lake, making it easy to spend less time launching and more time enjoying the water.
Guests Only: 24-hour boat slips are available exclusively to registered Elk Lake Resort lodging guests. We do not offer a public boat launch or public slip rentals.
Pricing: $50 per 24-hour period (10:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
Included: Secure boat tie-up and launch assistance from our marina team.
Boat Size: Boats must be under 26 feet in length and 8 feet in width.
Required Documentation: Current boat registration and proof of liability insurance are required and must be emailed to marina@elklakeresort.com prior to launching. No refunds for failure to provide adequate proof.
Waterway Access Permit: All non-motorized boats (regardless of length) and sailboats under 12 feet require a Waterway Access Permit.
Important: For guest safety and operational needs, boat launches and removals are not permitted on Saturdays.
Elk Lake is a 10 MPH no-wake lake, offering a peaceful boating experience surrounded by the beauty of the Cascade Mountains. Enjoy the convenience of having your boat safely secured at the resort and ready whenever adventure calls.

Make Elk Lake your summer home base with an annual boat slip lease. Whether you’re a weekend adventurer or a daily lake lover, our private slips provide convenient, secure access to the crystal-clear waters of Elk Lake throughout the boating season.
Enjoy stunning mountain views, easy access to resort amenities, Sunday Regattas, and a welcoming lakefront community. An annual lease ensures your boat is ready whenever you are. Current pricing is $2,600 per year and is subject to change. Spaces are limited and fill quickly — reserve your slip today to enjoy a full season of stress-free lake time.
Please note that new slips are only available for sailboats under 26 feet long and 8 feet wide.
