Summer CABINS
1940's Vintage
2 Bedroom Cabins
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY 4 PERSONS
Our five vintage 1940's cabins reflect the long history of the resort and offer a simple, classic cabin experience near Elk Lake.
Each cabin features two bedrooms furnished with new mattresses and new furniture, comfortably accommodating up to four guests. While the cabins are older and fairly basic, they provide the essentials needed for a convenient stay close to the lake.
Your stay includes the convenience of private parking and access to a basic camping-style kitchen equipped with essential cooking supplies, including a microwave. Inside, each cabin includes a private bathroom with a shower, along with fresh linens, and towels. The kitchen space is stocked with plates, bowls, cups, silverware, and utensils for your group, along with standard cookware such as pots and pans. (Bakeware is not provided.) A coffee maker is not included in the cabins, but guests are welcome to enjoy the coffee station available down at the Lodge.
Cabins 17 and 18 each include one queen bed and two twin beds. Cabins 19 and 20 feature two queen beds, while Cabin 25 is conveniently located next to our largest cabin, Cabin 26, for extra large groups.
Outside, each cabin has two Adirondack chairs and a seasonal campfire ring where guests can enjoy an evening under the stars. These cabins provide a practical and nostalgic stay for those who appreciate the charm of vintage lake cabins.
Up to two vehicles may be parked at these cabins. Tents and pop-up shade tents are not allowed. Any vehicle that can be slept in—such as a camper, van, or truck with a shell—must be parked in the Upper Parking Lot. Overnight sleeping in vehicles in any of our parking lots is not permitted.
To help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, portable grilling is only permitted at campground sites with reservations and for guests using the day dock. Grilling is not allowed in any other areas of the resort. Please do not bring personal grills onto the property unless you have a campground reservation or day dock rental where grilling is permitted.
Instead, we encourage guests to relax and enjoy the convenience of our restaurant and bar, where you can take in the lake views while enjoying freshly prepared meals, snacks, and beverages during your visit.

Elk Lake Resort operates in a mountain environment, where weather and natural conditions can change quickly and unpredictably. Circumstances beyond our control may include, but are not limited to, weather conditions, lack of snow, rain or lightning, excessive heat or sun exposure, wildfire activity or smoke, road closures, or other environmental events. Winter Stay Reservations

Upon booking a stay, guests are required to arrange separate snowcat transportation (unless arriving by ski or snowmobile). Transportation must be booked in advance online and is billed separately.
There is limited parking available at Dutchman Flat Sno-Park, and we strongly recommend using Shuttle Oregon for transportation to and from the gate at the Dutchman parking lot.
Guests are solely responsible for securing transportation to the Dutchman Sno-Park pickup area and ensuring timely arrival. The resort does not provide last-minute transportation services. No refunds or credits will be issued for lodging, rentals, or other services resulting from a guest’s failure to arrange transportation to the pickup area or arrive on time.
